Oasis At Mission Beach

Brief & Context

Oasis at Misison Beach is a residential subdivision that includes three medium density sites. Studio Mango designed tropical townhouses and units for the three sites and provided design drawings for Town Planning Approval.

Site layouts had to provide commercial yields and good amenity with generous private yards to townhoses. Buildings were broken up into smaller groups to assist air flow and reduce bulk. Car parking was placed under buildings where possible, and townhouses were mostly ‘upside down’, with their living areas on the upper floors for views and breezes.
