Concept

The HUB is an exciting vision for Innisfail. It unites diverse stakeholders to do something better together. Combining the best of the private sector, local Council and Government, the project aims to provide services that Innisfail has long needed.

The project is a concept design, and is intended to spark conversation, debate and eventually action. Initiated by a local resident, Charlie Torrisi, the HUB is an innovative drive to bring people together and discuss what Innisfail can create.

The HUB links multiple services and facilities that compliment each other and work better together. Currently on the drawing board is a transit centre, library, cinema/theatre, museum, community space and commercial offices. (You probably have a few ideas of your own!)

Located on a prominent site, with exposure to the highway, this project has the opportunity to be more than just the spaces within. It has the potential to showcase Innisfail, to attract tourists and really make a difference to the town.
