Brief & Context

These units were designed for the Torres Strait Regional Authority on Thursday Island to house employees. The site was steep but had magnificent views. Two sets of townhouses were placed to take advantage of access from both above and below. On the lower level parking was placed under the units, while the upper building had parking behind.

The units were sized to suit families, and a central benched area of the site provided shared, level recreation space.
